Filming from sun up to sun down, fight scene after fight scene, and doing a Polaris Razor chase scene. Talk about a busy day! Started the day working on some new choreography for a scene that's gonna be added to the beginning of the short. Talking about the the different falls and wrecks in your future works better than coffee, as far as morning wake ups go. It really is such an experience being around fellow stunt people and seeing things go from ideas to action. Its also a little weird, no other people hear "Then we will throw you into that tree." and get excited.

After that it was time to get to the scenes that I was most excited about, THE CHASE SCENE! Being able to get behind the wheel of a four seat turbo Razor was amazing. I've done some precision driving, and I have plenty of off road experience. But too finally be able to use those skills in a scene?! Just one of those moments that make me realize how much I like what I do. Besides who doesn't want to zoom one of those bad boys down a dirt road. It was a good experience being behind the wheel and closing distance with another vehicle. Plus being able to teach a co-worker how to drive one, and getting them competent enough to bust a full 90 by the end of the day.

Ending the day by starting the work for the climactic fight scene was tough. By this time we were all tired, sore, dirty, and just done. We pushed through all that and kept going. Getting most of the end fight filmed! Watching your crew pick themselves up, dust themselves off, and say "Lets do another one." is beyond motivating. All of a sudden your bumps, bruises, and scratches seem so minor. Then the excitement of another take hits you and you couldn't imagine calling it a day yet. I cant wait for this project to be finished to see all the hard work we put into it.
